Mold Polishing Stones
Fine-grit stones in every working section — for dressing mold cavities and taking steel to a polish.
WHAT THEY ARE
Where molds meet their finish
Mold polishing stones are the hand tools of the mold shop: fine-grit stones rubbed by hand along cavities, ribs and parting lines to remove tool marks, erase machining steps and bring the steel surface up to a polish before final buffing.
The work is done section by section — a flat stone for open faces, a round or half-round one for grooves, a triangular one for corners. That is why we produce this series in so many cross-sections, all in fine grits and all made to order.

SECTIONS & GRITS
What we produce
Flat bars — the general-purpose section for open faces and flat surfaces.
Round, half-round and square bars — for grooves, slots and inside radii.
Triangular sections — for corners, ribs and hard-to-reach detail work.
Fine-grit bodies in silicon carbide, white alumina and chromium corundum — body and grit set per your finishing step.
